TAAF Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025 by Empowering 50 Rural Women with Sustainable Skills

On March 8, 2025, in celebration of International Women’s Day, The Adeola Adeyemi Foundation (TAAF) successfully trained 50 women in the Kukwaba Community, Lugbe-Abuja, equipping them with vital skills to start small businesses and achieve financial independence.

This initiative was designed to honor and uplift women, ensuring they have the means to earn a living, provide for their families, and secure a brighter future for their children.

The women were trained in:
Liquid Soap Making 🧼
Popcorn Making 🍿
Puff-Puff Making 🍩

Through these skills, they now have the opportunity to run small businesses from home, enabling them to afford essential needs and support their children’s education.

To reinforce their learning, TAAF provided training manuals to each participant for continued practice and improvement. Additionally, food items were distributed to all attendees, offering immediate relief and support to their households.

This program is part of TAAF’s broader mission to empower underprivileged women, create sustainable livelihood opportunities, and uplift communities.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our partners, volunteers, and supporters who made this impactful event possible. Together, we are building a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.
